Architecture: Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor, Art Center:
I took this picture because I love the bright flags mixed with the classic style of building. It really gave off a feeling of warmth and made the beautiful building even nicer. I had to take a couple pictures of this building because it was cloudy and some pictures looked really bad with the clouds in them. I did a little bit of touchup in photoshop, but the picture is mostly untouched. I am very happy with how this photo came out. Ann Arbor, First National Bank: This picture was a lot of fun to take, I got to go up on the roof of the First National Bank Building. It is one of the tallest buildings in downtown Ann Arbor so it provided a great view. The top of the building has a castle like wall around it. I took my picture through one of these and it gave a really cool effect. I feel very lucky that I got this photo opportunity. Ann Arbor, Veterans Mural: This mural by Mary Thiefel, shows the faces of twelve veterans, whose service ranges from World War two to Afghanistan. The mural was eye catching for me because it had bright colors and a variety of faces. I also think that the old brick building it is on is very cool and appealing. I hope that this picture does a justice to the original, and the people depicted. I am proud of the way my picture came out |
